Why would you date an Otaku?

It is safe to say that when you find yourself liking something so much that it takes chunks of your income away and leave you with a smile on your face, that you need your life partner to have the exact same smile on their face or you going to have a whole lot of trouble in your future.

The poll reasons, wow... Interesting. :p I would personally date an otaku, because I am one and we'd have that thing in common. It's good to have a least one thing in common in a relationship. :)

i would date any girl and make them happy anyway or another, aha but an Otaku chic would be cool too we'd have alot in common and a gamer would nice too, i know tis one gamer (she's kinda chuby, but shes sick) but cool and pretty and i'd totally fuck her hehe

I think just becuse wee wojld have more income .but funny thing is iv bean with a otakue girl we wear making out more than wee wear talkinv about anime .but i find that its good to have that,in comen .

Yes i would date an otaku girl... thing is, aren't more than half the people on this site here for that reason? xD The last one on the dating otaku women poll was... slightly disturbing...

All those poll responses are hella insulting to all genders. I dunno, personally, I wouldn't not go out with someone who is an otaku, but I wouldn't specifically go out with someone who is an otaku. ... ya know? Maybe it's cause I'm not so much into anime nowadays so it's not a trait I'm particularly looking for, but I wouldn't cross someone off just cause that's their hobby.

I would like to date an otaku simply because it would mean we have something in common ^_^ But, I would also be more attracted to an otaku guy over a "normal" guy, because that shows that he has a passion for something. Most of the guys I've been with have been just sort of... blank. They didn't have any strong opinions about anything. And also kind of emotionless, or at least like to hide them. I feel like a lot of people are like that these days, both guys and girls. It's a world of zombies, and I don't like it! >.< so I really want to date someone who's an otaku, like myself, someone who's got a passion for different things in life and who is open with their emotions, big and small =)

Why else am I here? lol. I want to find a nice Otaku woman. So I have someone awesome to hang out with and watch anime and maybe game with :3
