What's the reason you're single?

Kitsune - I have been single for over 3 years now after being cheated on by the person I was going to marry - to find out she was cheating on me with a 15 year old (I had just turned 21 at the time and she was 24) I think that you're doing alright - if it goes past 3 years then you're in trouble lol.

Nerdalous - not to make you upset or anything but that's the nice way of saying - "I am seeing someone else" without actually saying that. If the love was plutonic and real - there is always time for it. You'd make your time revolve around it.

@tyrant That sounds like a horrible situation. I'm truly sorry that you had that happen. My ex and I had talked about possibly getting married but of course all the other stuff happened. Really I'm just trying my best to keep moving instead of letting it weigh me down right now, and hopefully find happiness eventually of that nature. I'd like to be more sure of a relationship though since that has been a fault.

Well I am waiting for the right guy because I tend to become infatuated quick /: but i don't mean harm :( I always am lied to or cheated on I don't know why because i am a sweetheart /: I don't show it in school but I am /: sigh....

The reason I am single is entirely my fault. The obvious bits aside (I don't really meet many people, and I don't know when a girl is interested in me), I have Avoidant Personality Disorder. I've got a handle on it in most aspects of my life, but it has caused some major problems, to whit: I don't have a drivers license, car, or job. I'm broke. That means I can't pay for dates, offer to drive, or even invite them over. That's a pretty pathetic situation to find yourself in at my age. To that end, I decided after my last relationship fell apart that I can't do that to someone else. I need to find a way to make things equal, and until I can, I can't see myself being with someone and having it be a fair relationship. Of course that's easier said than done. lol

ALL of my ex's cheated on me, but i still trust easily my job is pretty stressful so im kinda of cynical, but will jump head over heels if i find someone in rl who is in to anime im the only otaku for at minimum 25 miles in all directions i work 40+ hours 6 days a week 45mins from home, so i get no time to "go out" and the big one is i am completely clueless when it comes to picking up hints.... i need a chick to basically hit me with a mac truck even realize they are hitting on me
