I miss eating Meiji Meltyblends, they were sooooo good and really melted in your mouth as a chocolate square with chocolate powder covering. >w< I get Chocobabies (chocolate cylinders with stars on the end of random ones), Hi-Chews (apple and strawberry candy that're like better Now n' Laters, wanna try the lemon flavor sometime), Lychee gummies, Ramune soda candy, Fruit Drops, Meiji, Lotte, and Morinaga chocolate bars (even the dark chocolate which I usually don't like), and probably others I forgot the names of. When I tried eating chocolate mochi ice cream, I had to cut and peel off the rice paste outer shell/casing because I didn't like how it tasted. I drink Ramune in most flavors, more so in the glass containers than the plastic (just tastes better for some reason), and have been testing how the lemonade/honey drinks are. I really wanted to try the soda flavored ice cream/popsicle sometime.

I'm with Yukixl...Choclate Seasalt icecream

What's the draw about seasalt ice cream? Been wondering since I played Kingdom Hearts and looked up a recipe to make it (haven't done yet). Is it just salty or something else that makes it desirable?

OMG I miss Meiji Meltyblends. I forgot about them because I only ever tasted them twice. They were beautiful. A feat of food engineering.

DESSERTS!

I think Meltyblends are now under the name Meltykiss from my recent search. They're like limited time flavors now. It makes me sad because I'd buy like 3 boxes of the milk chocolate and think I bought a milk flavored box one time. They were my treat for when I really craved chocolate and I'd eat 3 or 4 for a serving (spread out over the time I'd be doing homework or whatever), just savoring the flavor and texture as it melted. I saw one day at the Asian gourmet store in Louisiana (where I'd buy them in highschool) that they weren't stocking them again, and other trips proved futile as well. I'd hoped they just weren't getting shipments, but I guess Meiji restructured how they were producing and selling the product. >.o||| On another story, one time I went into the Asian gourmet store in Birmingham, AL to stock on candy (several packs of Hi-Chews and random assortment of my favorite chocolates, maybe some other things) and Ramune, brought it to the counter, and either an Asian customer behind me or the cashier (forgot which, this has been like 2 years ago more or less) gawked at my collection of sweets and the fact that I wasn't Asian but buying at the Asian gourmet store, saying "How did you get into all of these things?!" My brother thought it was funny that that happened since he was waiting to get some stuff too. Also had to help a Vietnamese woman who I had seen earlier at my job (a fabric store) at this same store to find something for her son to eat, think one of the snacks if I remember right.

Sea salt ice-cream takes some getting used to...it literally tastes like salt water and what ever flavor you chose. They usually blend well, giving you a great salty and sweet taste. I like the chocolate, as it is a wonderful array of flavor. You have the bitter and sweet of the chocolate and the salty sea salt. It's an acquired taste.

I make green tea fruit pops. Those are pretty good :3 But my favorite regular candy would have to be liquorice. *u*
