I'm gonna go with the male anime character I like that closely resembles the men I actually encounter on a daily basis: Makoto Tachibana from Free! http://i.imgur.com/UEUHyVN.jpg He's an excellent swimmer and bonus that he's willing to teach kids how to swim. We'll spend all our days as a family diving and swimming from island to island in some exotic place with great beaches!

I would be on the Sebastian Michaelis boat like so many others, but not because I would want a 24/7 servant. Sebastian unmastered would be an incredible thing to behold. He's not exactly a free spirit in that regard, always shackled to Ciel. The only way to win with Sebastian is if you became Ciel. *sigh* Anyway, there are about 1 out of 3 anime I have watched where I could pick a character from that would befit this thread. I noticed they all seem to have similarities. I didn't think I was attracted to any particular type besides nerds and people with a sense of humor. Apparently I am seduced by characters who carry a darkness or sorrow within them. I don't know if it's because I would actually want to be with someone like that or if it's because I identify with them.
