I heard about the news to about the new season of TG. I honestly don't think its a bad thing I read that Sui Ishida, himself didn't like the direction or how the animation studio was handling the series. So he took it upon himself to write an original plot and script as well for this. I understand that some are upset by the news, but we gotta respect that this is what the author want and it will be good. :)

I liked tokyo ghoul but after the 5th episode I opted for reading the manga instead. Everything flows much better in the manga. I think Ishida made a smart decision by making S2 original instead lol. Also, Kiseijuu is awesome XD.

Aah omg i found "my" thread!! ^i'm reading the manga at the moment. It's so insanee. I think the anime is as good as the book though......can't wait for season 2!!

I began watching it a few days back, I'm on ep. 4 of the first season. I do not find it so interesting. I may be watching from a bad anime site (which I suspect bc I don't know anyone who uses it) but the writing seems really bland/cliche. The pacing seems slow, too. I think I will switch to a different site and continue watching though.
