What is the 1st anime you watched that turned you into an Otaku??

Hello, I am Chris Watched anime since I was a young lad, had the Mobile Fighter G Gundam series on those 4 episode DVD's donated to my family when I was young. So Mobile Fighter G Gundam got me pretty into anime. :)

I'm Hannah, 18, from Philippines. The first anime I watched and made me an otaku was Gakuen Alice, I really loved its plot and peculiar characters. After I read the whole manga, I was so disappointed that the next season of the anime was never released. It has a wonderful storyline, what a waste :(

hello, im neochan (i dont like to give out my given name, one of the reasons is cause I really dont like my name) and technically speaking Mew Mew power got me into anime when i was about 11 years old, I was just randomly searching for video os that on youtube when a Naruto video was in the suggestions, i looked into that and it just went uphill from there ^^

Hey! I go by TJ and I'm 19. I've always liked anime but the one that got me was probably... I would have to say it'd have to be Full metal alchemist or Bleach that my friend suggested we watch resulting into my love now!!! ^^

First anime that made me like an otaku was Naruto back when it was on toonami every Friday. I used to go on YouTube and look at the fan art people made with the characters being couples but that was before I knew what an otaku was because I was only like 12 at the time , funny enough Sword Art Online reeled me back into being an otaku
