favourite adult swim shows

I love Lucy!! OK actually Lucy is not the best part of the show, the best part is Jesus and Satan and then the priests and nun.

Oh but yes to the original post. I went through my Aqua Teen Hunger Force phase like everyone did. But the best shows were Venture Bros, Metalocalypse, and Harvey Birdman. I did like Space Ghost too. I didn't really care for adult swim when they started trying to bring live action to it. The purpose for adult swim was cartoons with adult humor.. at least I thought it was. I guess they were trying something or expanding, anyway it just didn't interest me. Before long all the shows on adult swim were no longer interesting so I stopped watching and reverted to just seeing them as they came out on Hulu or Netflix (or the internets).

Aqua Teen Hunger Force is a fucking classic so I can't not mention that one but AS had so many good shows in the past that naming just a few is hard. ATHF, The Boondocks and Venture Bros really stuck out to me the most though, ATHF is pure nostalgia but it was a landmark in that it started a trend of low-budget, badly animated types of shows that weren't serious in the least and it still stood above all those types of shows in the end. Venture Bros is just an amazing fucking concept with amazing characters and amazing world-building, and it's incredibly unique and does shit in it's own way. The Boondocks is just an amazing social satire that didn't hold back at all, to the point where some of their episodes weren't allowed to be aired on TV. Aaron McGruder just didn't give a fuck who or how many people he pissed off in saying things nobody wanted to hear. Even without that though, the show stands on it's own with wacky humor that has nothing to do with politics. I would mention Rick and Morty but it's relatively new to the network, I still love it though.

Metalocalypse, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Venture Bros are my favorites. ANYTHING is better than constant King of the Hill and Family Guy reruns though. I used to love those shows, but now I couldn't be more tired of them constantly showing.
