Your thoughts on women abusing men and how it is perceived in our society?

aerone
Its unfair that a woman can abuse a man in basically any form and no one even bats an eye. If I were a guy and a girl was hitting me...I'd let her hit me three times and then I'd knock her dumb ass out. A lot of you probably won't agree with that but, if you don't want to get hit, don't hit other people.

^ Agreed. I mean I wouldn't slug her. I'm a little too strong to be doing that to people but I'd restrain her and try to calm her down. But yeah, it's not cool for people to take advantage of someone or beat on them like that and it should not be encouraged. I really felt kind of sick watching people laugh about it. Evil persists when good people sit back and watch. And if people think what they are doing is okay then they'll keep right on doing it.

@Fatalis Best post on the entire forum of maiotaku. If anyone attacked me male or female they best be prepared to get knocked the fuck out. Anyone attempting to interfere will face my wrath as well. Luckily I'm always in the darkness so no one bugs me. But on the off chance it occurs, I'll prepare myself for the outcomes.

Trying to restrain them doesn't always work... My brother tried that with his crazy ex. She ended up clawing him up pretty good and I had to help him drag her ass out of the house because she was freaking out.
burninghalo
Sorry for your brother :/ But I'd least start with restraint. I've been raised not to strike a woman so unless she was really doing something fucked up I'd try something else first.

I'm not sorry for him...he's a dick anyway so he kind of deserved it. It was a toxic relationship for them both.

@burning halo Yes I realize most people think that men and women should be treated equal, but for me personally, I will always treat women better than men because that is how I was raised. So far, it hasn't created any problem for me or others, so I have always listened to my instincts on this. As for tolerating domestic abuse, I don't think men should tolerate it. I think they should take it into their own hands to get to a better situation. I'm not going to help them with that because I don't care about men as much. I have a good amount of guy friends, and I expect them to fight for themselves in that situation. I know it can be considered sexist, but eh, it's my instinct. @tigerfestival Society dictates how people act towards women, but I disagree with you that it isn't based off of instinct. Some beliefs in society stem from instinct itself. All of our civilizations branch out from a base instinct. Listening to your instinct is never something to be afraid of. I'm in the camp that believes you should always follow your instincts, but I guess I'm just more primal.

Personally, if a women hits me then better be hard enough to where I won't stand back up. Just because she's a woman doesn't mean I won't hit her back. If we're playing around, no problem. If she's hitting me while being upset because I did something wrong, then I fucked up and should try to fix it. That part depends though. If it's for no reason or a reason that is stupid, then I'm hitting back. I treat everyone as equals. I don't usually do that special treatment thing just because of who they are. If she hits me, she is basically showing me that she can handle it if I hit back. I'll laugh if she tries to play the victim card and bitch about being hit by a man despite she was the one who sparked it. Nonetheless male/female, I don't care. Both genders are humans. Nothing special.
