It seems the UK is better for student loans than our friends across the pond (I would of thought it was the other way around) o.0

Wow^... As someone that works in social services I can tell you I didn't have to go to Vienna to find out about the sex trade and human trafficking. It's present in the states just as much as the other counties. At least it seems to be here anyway because OKC is a hub where many highways meet. But thanks for derailing the thread lol. http://www.traffickingproject.org/p/mission.html?m=1 http://polarisproject.org/sex-trafficking http://www.trafficking.org/learn/statistics.aspx

Honestly drum I don't give a shit about what you have to say unless it's about the topic at hand. If you want to make a thread about what slaves are, then do so. Okay, now that we are back on topic I watched an episode on Vice that was specifically about the college loan crisis. They toured campuses and their lavish estates. When I saw the quality of for-profit colleges that had statues out front, spiral staircases with rich chandeliers, valet parking, it just made me sick to my stomach. All of these things are possible on the backs of their wage slaves. You'd be surprised how many colleges have been sued or investigated for malpractice. One big issue is that the state has all but stopped funding colleges, so colleges can now saddle 80% of the burden on students. Once the deans figured out they could charge any price they want for college because students are forced to go if they want a better life, they increased the price over 800%. It's insane and criminal!
