Is nobody relieved we left before talk of a federal Europe was put on the table? I wouldn't want to become a state. It would also mean us changing to the Euro I bet. No thank you. Also, with us (one of the largest economies) leaving there are already talks of others following. In this case, Europe might fall apart just like the League of Nations did in the 1900s. We all recovered that time round, I don't see why we couldn't again. I'd be surprised if any citizens in Europe want to go federal. It would be a nightmare. What's the policy in America if a state wants independence from the rest? Whatever it is, it would be the same foisted on the countries of Europe.

@differentdrum I doubt very much that it'll come to war. The best thing the EU could do is dissolve the parliament side, but keep the trade circle, which is what it was supposed to be in the first place. This would keep the economies and trade going, but give countries the freedom to return to their own money, set their own prices etc. Poorer countries like Greece could go back to making money on tourism, which suffered when they went Euro because it became too expensive. If you're paying the same amount to visit Greece as, say Italy, why would you limit yourself to just visiting Greece year on year?

I would have preferred if the UK stayed, fascism and nationalism is winning ground these days in the EU and we all know what happend in the 1930's when it happend as well. I'm a big supporter of an USE because United we stand and divided we will fall. Now the Uk will suffer the economic consequences and al the problems that come with it. The uneducated in other EU countries will be able to learn from the mistake that the UK has made. But also the leaders of the EU have to understand that they have to become more fixable and that we should get an opportunity to vote for a government in the EU. The money spend "on" Europe shouldn't even have been a topic of debate in leaving. They won't be able to spend that money anyway because they will have to spend that on things the Europe union did for them.

Sadly there was a lot more too it than just money spent on the EU by the UK, there has been a lot of things enforced on us by the EU and other countries within the EU that some did not like but the EU government just bulldozed over the objections as they did not agree with there agenda and this faceless entity that never consults its people on how they feel will ultimately end up having backlash at some point. I'm not saying its a good thing the UK is out or a Bad thing its more of an unknown thing and no one has a plan ready for the result that was given
