Life is going well for me right now-I had a life changing experience and feel as if though I'm going through a renaissance -for the first time in years I want to live and am glad to be alive

Going pretty good. My dad is doing better after a few major surgeries, I am getting in very good shape after being very sick for years, just ate some amazing turkey burgers, and I am watching Grown Ups.

Not so well, lately. I lost my step dad and older brother and now my best friend may have cancer. I feel like a shadow of my former self, and I continue to wake up with an impending doom deep in my soul. I've gotta stay strong and be there for those I care about no matter what.

Just kinda watching over this thread, pretty amazing how much troubles people have gone through but still coming out on top. Remember times can be tough but once you get past that hurdle things become easier than they were before. Good job everyone. o.o

Life is boring because I have to waste most of it on a crappy job if I want money to be able to do things and have stuff.

Geez Lenny, that sucks. I'm sorry you're having such a rough spell. Having been through a separation and subsequent divorce I don't wish it on anybody. It's one of the most harrowing things I think anyone can go through. Losing a family member on top of it just makes it that much worse. I lost my grandfather at the same time my separation was happening, so I can kind of relate. Do you have a good support network of friends and family you can lean on? That's really important. Anyway, I hope things get better and I'm sorry again for your loss.

Thanks Shawnji :) I appreciate the kind words. Sorry to hear of your bad times too. I have a few supportive friends so am lucky. I find everything goes wrong at the same time though.
