How do girls feel about otaku who collect?

I agree with the person above me. Back when I was a weeb I used to collect figurines and later I decided its more worth investing on things that are more productive than toys that collect dust. Granted, it's okay to buy a few figurines but you gotta watch how much you spend and make sure you have enough for essentials. Frankly if I walked into a not-very-rich guy's room and saw figurines piled to the ceiling, I wouldn't want to date him bc I would assume he's not financially fluent. While I love anime figurines since they're cool and all, there are just some things that are more worth buying than toys. That's just my opinion though. I know there are otaku girls who would think a massive figure collection is admirable.

I wouldn’t mind that. If it was something I liked or didn’t know I’d only be interested in it and maybe ask some questions. Besides I collect as well, not figurines, but other merchandise, books, Manga, comic-books, antiquities and some old technology things. I really am quite a geek x’D

Wah I was the same way too my room was full of anime posters and collections I was really shy about bringing people into my room ! But luckily I found someone that's the same way. As for advice I'd say 'warn' them up front ? Maybe if it's not such a surprise they won't mind

Otaku collection? I seen far worse. My cousin had his room decked out in star wars and star treck, nothing that didn't belong to those two fandoms existed in his room. His clothes and all that were also that. And he was able to find a hottie, and get marry. I would have to say, I might be amazed by the collection myself. In some polls women prefer otakus, they are quiet, respectful, always have something interesting to say, and tend to have extra money to spend on their beloved. < what the girls says in the poll.

I have a decent collection of Gundam model kit(action figures) like ... 20-30 of them ... Any female opinion on Gundam models(action figures) ...
