Who was your First ;)

My first was Fist of the North Star, it was on HBO when I was a kid. Didn't really find my fandom until I accidently caught DBZ on Toonami. Fist of the North Star has had a certain spot in my head since I first watched it though.

Honestly, my anime was either Howle's Moving Castle or Inuyasha, but does Howle's Moving Castle count if it's a movie? Oh well, it does to me.

My brothers and sisters were into anime long before i was born and would watch them with me when i was a kid. Since i was at such an early age when i was first exposed to anime I cant really remember which was my first, but most of my early memories are of sailor moon, card captors, flcl and Tenchi muyo. While i may not remember what was my first anime was, i do remember what got me into watching them independently. At the time Bleach was the first anime that truly caught my eye. Its early episodes were filled comedy, action, and cool concepts really drew me in and i soon fell in love with series. After i caught up to the show i began looking for other shows that shared similar aspects to it and found them in shows like one piece and Naruto. As time went on my tastes began to change and i eventually began to watch a wider variety of different anime.

Fruits Basket was my first that I watched, as in sat down and just watched a full episode, because before then I had seen some Pokemon and stuff. I've wanted to re-watch it but it was taken off of netflix. ;-;

hmm.. not sure if its considered anime or just cartoons but i liked watching as a kid (biker mice from mars, street shark, and SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron oh holy crap how could i forget samurai pizza cats) ahh the early 90's talk about nostalgia

The absolute first anime I'd ever seen was probably Card Captor Sakura (such nostalgia..!). It was before I even knew what anime was, tbh :p That was a looong time ago, now.
