Det. Conan is one of those animes I'd put on in the background while doing other stuff. If I'd done it any other way I would have never been able to catch up. Still, I'm quite eager to finally see it's conclusion. Not that it's bad (which btw is worhty of praise considering how many episodes there are), but I really just want to know how the story ends.

Is this show still going? Is that dude still a kid? nobody has figure out after this long that the kid isn't growing?

Besides the Kaito Kid episodes Im obsessed with the black organization ones. I'm a sucker in that I HAVE to know how it ends. This is also how shonens get me. They suckle you in with the sweet taste of character development and then BAM, 400+ episodes later have to sucking plot devices out of straw in a dumpster behind an alley.

Actual story development only happens every 50 eps, the rest is padded with fillers and minor character's stories, but to be honest, I quite like it. Since I've grown up with it, it feels like catching up with old friends each time.
