Ambitions, careers....or lack of?

When finding something you like to do and want to do that for a living it has to be something that is going to ensure you'll get enough money to pay bills, rent and food. Sometimes being a youtube blogger or reviewer doesn't always make enough money especially if your not popular or just starting.. Sometimes you have to have some kind of assist to make you go the distance. At least I always thought that.

I'm a pretty ambitious person... so I find myself doing many things at once. I think I'm going to reluctantly start an ebay store and sell jrock goods. Anyway, I find that I'm not completely satisfied with just where I'm at. I got the car, got the job, got a degree, but I'm working in the retail area of the military and I've been doing retail for 10 years. Since I got a job with the military I've been moving up quickly and that is great. I'm on the fast track to being a department head in the company. (not like normal retail, you're basically in charge of the region's _____ department.) But, I think I can be doing more, so I'm going to get another degree, hopefully in Environmental Sciences. I've been accumulating credits for such but also other avenues. I'm on the fence but I may change my major to accounting. I get fickle, and it seems similar to the stuff I've been doing with for the past year anyway. Anyway, my best advice is if you are already making money, do your job you are doing but then work on what you want to do until you are ready and secure enough to do what your passion is. I myself would have something secure and do what my passion is as well until I am certain that my passion is both secure and sustainable.

I was joking about the YouTube thing, watzolwick took it seriously. I mentioned that I am interested in fine art photography which also includes infrared and astrophotography and chainmail jewelry which I used to make till my stuff got stolen. I am also interested in working on documentaries and indie films, but that's a longer term project. I still need a camera I can use for both (Looking at Panasonic GH4 or Sony A77 mkII atm) but that's around $1500 with one lens and I still need a computer for editing (around $700-800) and printer for fine art photos.

OK, but it has to be awesome like some Breaking Bad quality Meth or something. Better yet we will design a new drug, a super performance enhancing drug and call it Valkyr...

watzlowick didn't they say in your training not to do that? D:< I'm just messing with you but you should watch what you throw out there. :P As for this ambition why not move to Colorado and start a "agricultural co-op" with a few dispensaries. As Snoop Lion would put it. lol (I should add that he is really into actual agriculture, and has established gardens for impoverished places and they didn't involve cannabis. He's a great guy.)

its all coming together.. MWUHAHAHAH!!! career in "agriculture" is one way to look at it

Better yet, find some obscure hallucinogenic plant that hardly anyone knows about and hasn't been classified as restricted by the U.S. and grow huge quantities. Deal as quickly as possible after you know proper dosage and effect, make a bunch of money before it gets restricted, do the same thing again.

Sounds like you need a botanist. :P Maybe pick someone from Humbolt up and bring them to Colorado and start something lol
