I have a bully now that I'm an otaku...It's my mother

chrisma
Then I can say I am truly blessed that my parents are very supportive of the things I like and the hobbies I have. It's just a matter of letting them understand I think that what you are doing is not something bad at all. :)

Hello, welcome I am new too. I hope we can become friends. ^_^ Do not let what anyone says about your hobby discourage you, which includes your mother. They should be happy that you have a good hobby compared to other bad things you could be doing out there in the world.

Hope everything's going well for you pettankoprincess :)

So basicly your mom doesn't like your hobby? The guy my mom was with didn't like it either I started collecting figures and such when I was 17 and really went into anime around that time. But the thing is my past hasn't really been all that great, I've gotten arrested a couple of times for things ... not really bad things. I'll be totally open here, for theft of 200-300 bucks and for figthing with the police that were annoying me in my room. I also almost break my brother who is 3-4 years older than me and bigger than me, his ribs. For all those things he was quite scared to say anything about it so he kind of talked about it and bitched about it when I was not around. He onces stepped to me and ended up calling the cops just to stop me. So overally didn't really get bullied by anyone XD to get to my point, I would say just ignore it, it's your life. They won't be able to control your life for to long. My mom even likes it and her new friend as well. They find the detail on my figures and such so nice that they just can't say anything bad about it. Also my mom red a part of my yaoi manga ... yeah ... Question though before the otaku stuff were you and your mom close ?

"I may be pretty but that's not all there is to me...I want friends..girls don't like me..and I just want friends so bad..." and "The girls are rude backstabbers around here..And they think I want their boyfriends...but I only loved one guy...then he betrayed me..." Wut. Wow. Don't think shit like that. You may have had some unpleasant experiences on this site, but you don't know all the girls here. You went out for a jog around this website, so to speak, and managed to get a bit of dog shit on your shoe. As for your parental situation: what is your educational situation like right now? In other words, are you in college? I'd recommend moving out for a bit to study and dedicate time to developing yourself if there's no other way to leave the judgment behind. If you're just screening for male companionship I will see myself out. But you have an interesting life story, based off of what I have read.

guys >.> and girls >.> why do you betray eachother, is it really that difficult to be honest? O.O To be trusted? Seriously everyone I know and everywhere I look I see people cheating on eachother, hurting one another and not trusting the one they love just because of the experiences they had before. I know I'm not the only guy that would be trustworthy but I do know that no matter how could someone would be for me, I wouldn't trust them either. And that all because of what I've been trough all my life. Even me, the guy with so many words, advice, help and the listening ear everybody wants apperently. I'm single, I don't trust anyone and on top of that I have never loved or be loved ...

Sorry to hear your mom isnt understanding of your hobby pettankoprincess. I am a mother and i actually got into anime because my kids enjoyed it so much. I am actually best friends with my kids and me and my youngest will watch anime together for hours. I hope your mom will come around and least try to understand your hobby is something that is important to you.

Everyone in my family watches anime :P My dad was one of the General Managers in Namco. My mom was addicted to games while she was pregnant with my brother and I. Pretty fun family lol Anyways good luck with your situation, shouldn't let it bother you, normal parents will have a problem with 90% of the things you do anyway.
