so what got you into anime

Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon, i started watching them when i was young on tv then everything bloomed from there. I've been hooked ever since.

I remember it like it was yesterday. I moved to a small town in the middle of no where and I my first friend loved anime. A few years passed and he couldn't get me into it. So he decided to take me to a convention (NDK) and I thought it was amazing. It's been 3 years since then and now I thank him for taking me even though he isn't around anymore. Fun times

My dad used to watch old anime in his room and I would go in there and watch some with him when I was little then when I got older I'd watch Sailor moon with my brother and sisters and we kept growing and growing and I ended up the only one who still liked it. So family bounding was the reason at first but I got more into it because it was something I could have on my own.

My first animes where pokemon and yugioh, but what got me hooked was inuyasha. The good old days oh and hamtaro ever day before school 6p.m. loved those little hamsters

Pokémon, like many others I guess. Not only it was my first contact with anime (and japanese culture altogether) but this show (and its games) was the golden age of my childhood.

I think it was my sister who first got me properly into manga and anime as we used to be able to buy manga for £1 and then my fascination grew from there. Though I do remeber I used to love sailor moon when I was a lil kid.
