Having a friend ask a guy out for you shows that you're really not into it. If you truly like somebody, you would be able to get over the fears and take a chance. Not only does it show that you are confident in yourself, but that you are willing to show them that you really do care.

I didn't like him really, he asked me out before and I said no so I felt.....I don't wanna say bad (not for him but it felt mean) none the less hearing no HURTS xD and ill never ask a guy out again, now I feel like its the guys duty. I just put out a shit ton of signals.

The conception that saying no is a bad thing when it comes to dates is actually not so much wrong. It is much better to say no I dont want to rather then mix yourself up with one and it turns out bad in the long run. I do not like to lead others on if I dont feel anything for them then I will say it. However I wont be rude or anything I will try to be a good friend being there for them if they feel hurt.
