Artists are so hard to find, are you one?

I have a three volume novel series all written out and over the passed years been attempting to get them published while writing the fourth installment. Why so long the publishers are offering deals like " we'll give you two thousand dollars but we hold all the rights". I say this because much of what stellina said, a lot of people don't want to work for nothing or for people to take there work. I like Collabs if the guidelines are set fifty fifty.
