Thanks for the add Tylor :)
Thank you for the friend add : D
Thanks!! It's nice to see other Brits on here :)
Thanks nice to meet ya too. What cons do you do?
Nice! Probably a dumb question, but have you ever had any US-based guests at the small ones? If so, I bet they LOVE that relaxing atmosphere, pfft! Probably very refreshing for them, to say the least!
Shame there's not as many in the US, but still I'm sure the personal time with guests is something to be appreciated, bar none. Probably easier for them to feel at ease, too, since your on staff and they know that you would be more apt to keep your cool, ha!
Ah, gotcha! So I'm assuming you're able to rack up a bit of perks for the work you put in at cons? I've heard of some cons having their own unique perks and heard that quite a few offer to pretty much let you get your badge for free, depending on how much time you put in...
With such an extensive background and collection, have you ever had a panel or time slot at any con you've been to where you speak about your experiences or share some of your collection? If you haven't, I would be surprised, because that would be interesting!
You, Sir, are top notch - that, amongst other things you've done, would've been such a great experience. Too awesome that you have stuff like that to be able to look back on, those are the kinds of things you cherish; it's awesome when such items in a collection have neat stories like that behind them.
THAT'S the ticket, you're right - it was Toonami! My god, I feel criminal for (almost) forgetting about it...that, and that I had easier access at that point in time where you had to work to get the good content. I'm envious, though...I'd love to find Blue Sub on VHS...I actually just managed to find it on DVD at one of the last cons I visited. What do you have more of in your collection - VHS or Laser/DVD?
