Alucard is not just any immortal, but probably one of the oldest and strongest beings known to exist. This vampire, however, is duty bound to the Hellsing family, who acts as the dogs of England's queen, protecting the country from the most dangerous parts of the underground, namely other vampires.

The Hellsing Organization, led by its current director and family heir, Integra wages a war against a revived Nazi group called Millenium. It's champion, a dark ancient vampire named Alucard enlists the aid of a new young vampire to conquer the evil.

The series is set on a fictional medieval island where humans are plagued by Yoma (妖魔), humanoid shape-shifters that feed on humans. A mysterious group, known as The Organization, creates human-Yoma hybrids to kill Yoma for a fee.

Nora, a loud mouth and haughty young demon, has defiled his superiors one to many times. For his own good, Nora is sent to live among humans and forced to act as a familiar spirit to cold-as-ice student Kazuma Makkari.

In the kingdom of Forland, a revolution and coup d'etat occurs, leading to the king's death. In the last moments of his life, the King sends his only child, Princess Alita Forland to escape.
