The adventures of the Argama and AEUG continue following Operation Maelstrom (see Zeta Gundam). In UC 0096, Banagher Links is caught in a tug-of-war between the Earth Federation and Zeon remnants for possession of Laplace's Box, an item which holds the secret of the Universal Century. He finds himself taking part in the struggle when he is entrusted with a prototype mobile suit, the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam.

Three years of peace have followed the Earth Federation's victory over the Duchy of Zeon. Now in the year 0083, the last remnants of Zeon begin their plan for revenge by stealing a prototype Gundam armed with nuclear weapons.

Universal Century 0123. After a generation of peace, the Earth Federation has begun to build new space colonies to house humanity's growing population.

The year is Cosmic Era 73. The Bloody Valentine War fought between the PLANTS space colonies and the nations of the Atlantic Federation has ended and an uneasy truce has settled upon the Earth sphere.

The confrontation between the Earth Alliance (Naturals) and Zaft (Coordinators) originated in economic trouble had reached an impasse. War couldn't be stopped by that point, and thus this story begins one year later when Heliopolis, a resource satellite belonging to a neutral nation, is suddenly attacked by a Zaft mobile suit force.

Gundam X is the story of the survivors of the Seventh Space War who try to eke out a living within the ruins of their civilization. "Vultures", scavengers of war material and ruined cities, roam the wasted Earth.

AC 196. Peace has spread through the Earth Sphere and the colonies are at peace.

In Zeta Gundam, we see the future world of the Universal Century through a dark mirror. Having defeated the Zeon menace, the Earth Federation has itself become cruel and oppressive.

The year is Future Century 60. To put an end to war, the Gundam Fight has been developed.

Universal Century 0093. After nearly fifteen years, the rivalry between Newtype pilots Char Aznable and Amuro Ray reaches a climax.
