Welcome to the Space Show, whose story "surpasses Star Wars in its scale" according to its producers, tells of the four adventures of five schoolmates and an alien dog in space during summer vacation.[1] The plot revolves around five elementary school kids on their "school trip".

After fighting in numerous interstellar wars, mankind forms the Galactic Union to bring stability and to prevent conflicts between different planets. However, disputes between members of the union itself persists.

The story is staged in the distant future within our own Milky Way Galaxy, approximately in the 36th century. A portion of the galaxy is filled with terraformed worlds inhabited by interstellar traveling human beings.
