Being forced to be at family meetings was one of the most unpleasant situations for me. It made me dislike holdidays. But that's in the past. I can enjoy them more now.

Eggnog without rum, that's just spiced snot. Kid, You're too hard on yourself. You say you're not where you should be at your age? Where exactly "should" one be at your or for that mstter, any age? The points that you make are self loathing, loss of sight and a sort of self pity. You see the problems, but something is making you do nothing about them(You). You remind me of myself and as such, you also know how to change. Get a good friend, go out and grow. Get a trade or higher education if you haven't, but know that you haven't failed until you stop giving any effort. There's no age for success nor a financial peak one MUST meet, just live, be independent when needed, seek help when needed and learn to be happy always.

I confess. When I am nervous around people or talk about bad things (ie. work problems), I tend to smile. As a result people sometimes think I am making fun of them or not being serious when it is the opposite. In the army someone almost punched me because of this. Sigh. Have learned to control it a bit during the years but still is a bit of a problem that I have noticed.

MKraftᶘ ᵒᴥᵒᶅ ...Sorry to hear that you have been understood because of your smiles...Perhaps you can look at ur feet or the floor when you are talking to acquaintances in real life?? People who actually know you understand you and ur nervousness/smiles. INTXs' stares and faces that don't show enough emotions make them look like angry serial killersʕ•̫͡•ʔ♬✧ʕʘ̅͜ʘ̅ʔ.
