@feydikan yeah I see what you mean it hasn't hooked at all. War Thunder has though, when they add tanks and ships it is going to be intense!

I think too many WoW vets try to compare other MMOs to WoW. Granted, WoW had a system that works, the user interface is very user friendly, and after all these years there are so many add-ons that you can customize your UI to fit your particular play style. You can play an MMO and if the UI doesn't work for you, you can say it sucks. But...if its pretty user friendly and works in similar to WoW (granted you can only change the UI so much so that it is still workable to the average PC player) then you complain its too much like WoW. Am I right? Wrong? Do you give other MMOs a fair chance to separate themselves from similar ones?

I loved EQ when it was new, it was a challenge. I wish they'd just rebuild the game with a new graphics engine and a better interface. A hardcore MMORPG. EQ2 was fun but when Sony's online services got hacked it killed the player base. WoW was fun until the Southpark aired and every idiot watching went out and bought it. At the end of Burning Crusade I ran out of quests and anything to do. Now it's just a game for soccer moms and people who want a sense of false achievement. I play a little Neverwinter, but it's not as good as it could have been, you can outlevel quests and dungeons way too easily and the pvp is ruined my jerks with bots doing their fighting for them. I'd like to get into the TESO beta but Bethesda's weird about who they let play.

so... No specific genre of an MMO? Just... MMO? Well then I have a list of MMOs that I've been into lately: GetAmped 2 Splash Fighters Audition! Online Avatar Star Rumble Fighter MapleStory La Tale As for games similar to WoW (in the fact that it's 3D MMO), a game that I've gotten into was Divina.

The main reason I never played WoW is simply that I couldn't get past the goofy character designs and art style. Wasn't really my thing. That has nothing to do with the gameplay, of course, about which I have few opinions beyond the (mostly positive) ways in which it influence EQ2, with which I am much more familiar.
