First Video Game Ever

@dyadka_yar u have a point ye but actually its preaty interisting how now days games are so good but we still sometimes go back on old games. Why? prob cuz we grow up with them.

I don't remember the first game I played. I started very young with my grandparents DOS OS PC and Intellivision. But the first game I personally owned was Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on my Sega Genesis. Of course video games were a nerd hobby back then, and still very niche and far from mainstream. Got made fun of quite a bit in school for liking video games back then. How times have changed.

Super Mario Bros. 1. My big sister brought home an NES. I still remember having difficulties knowing how to pass the first Goomba while the overworld theme "Running About" felt so good, it was a bit ticklish.

It must have been something on PS one, maybe Digimon Rumble Arena. It was a lot of fun and there is much nostalgia connected to it :)

Well it seems Laurachan and I have similar experiences with PlayStation haha! My first experience with video games ever was Duck Hunt on the NES along with the first Super Mario Brothers and Zelda. Eventually I got a Super Nintendo and would play Donkey Kong Country along with Mario Kart. Then the big change came when my brother left me his Playstation one. The games I enjoyed hard set me as a gamer for life! On the first Playstation I played Tekken 3, Crash Bandicoot, and Final Fantasy 8 and 9. When I finally got a PS2 I was also given a copy of Devil May Cry 2 , Final Fantasy 10 and Kingdom Hearts. However my personal favorite title to experience on that system was Shadow Hearts Covenant! The rest is history....
