Chrono Cross has some of the best prerendered back drops ever. And the OST is amazing. Yeah it's awesome.

@jikokun hahaha well it is titled fav PS1 rpg. Chrono Cross's soundtrack is pretty badass. I just remember a lot of people disliking it because they were all, "it barely has anything to do with the first one!"

I'd have to say it's a toss up for me. Legend of Dragoon, Final Fantasy 7, or MegaMan Legends

Super Robot Wars Alpha! Alpha was the best selling Super Robot Wars game of all time and had a great cast list including Zeta Gundam, Gundam W, Macross, Mazinger Z, Getter Robo, Evangelion, Gunbuster and some of the best original characters in Super Robot Wars history. Although its origin is PS1, I played it on the PSP.
