Overlooked JRPGs I might have missed?

thechzn1
If you are talking about PS1 RPG's besides the obvious Final Fantasy, I highly recommend Lunar, XenoGears, and my most favorite, Grandia. As for new JRPG's that are good, yer kind of sh** outta luck. Most of the best RPG's from this console generation come from the West, rather than the East.

I think people underestimate the YS series, Secret of Mana series, Shin Megami Tensei series, Baiten Kaitos Origins and 1, Dragon quest series, Breath of Fire series, Star Ocean series. There's always Super Mario RPG, Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia, ActRaiser, Soul Blazer,Lufia series, and the SaGa series.

I'm quite the fan of Tales series. I used to like star ocean, but, I didn't like 4 that much. I still prefer 2 and 3 though. Also, I miss Valkyrie profile. I hope they will make a new game of it and focus on the game design to reach the level quality of the first Valkyrie profile. I didn't like VP2 that much. I played wild arms, it's a great game. I especially like wild arms 2.
