Does the "Secret Admirer" thing work?

Personally I've had a "secret admirer" once and I think I destroyed them by basically just being like "ok cool, I'm flattered but how do I know you again?" when they revealed themselves and the fact that they were into me. Definitely an approach that wouldn't work on someone like me personally, I just replied with what I was honestly thinking at the moment :u It's never something I'd or ever have used personally. It's an over used piece of advice but I think it works if you're actually a decent person ultimately: just b urself bro lol

Deadass im so dense i wouldnt even have the slightest clue who it could be. I would be more worried it wasnt some creepy old dude after some fresh young ass. Secret admirer stuff never works imo its like confessing but not at the same time. Yeah they know you like them but they dont know who you are and it makes telling them much harder

Depends....some girls like that, most others find it creepy....either way, it's quite an uncommon way to crush on someone, even in elementary, middle, and high schools. I say screw that noise and to just fucking go for it, speak your feelings, and don't wait. Otherwise you'd just be risking them getting with someone else in the mean time rather than just telling them upfront.

I know for a FACT that being a secret admirer does NOT work... unless the girl was ALREADY into you before you started being a "MASSIVE F****** CREEP" who "PUTS ALL THIS S*** IN MY LOCKER". Totally not personal experience, btw. If you like a girl, tell her. If she says "Gross", "Eww," "No," "Stop," "Go away," "Leave me alone," or anything remotely similar to that (aka not replying to a text for a week) just leave her alone, so you don't become known as "the guy". It depends on what you do. My uncle worked at the post office with a woman he liked. He left kind messages in her locker every other day and one day a year or so later he admitted it to her that he was the one. They got married and are still living happily with eachother.
