Ghosted

It's happened to me quite a few times, one ghosting in particular was especially bad and upsetting, while I'm over it now I'd still prefer to ignore it. That's why whenever it happens I'm just thinking "Fuck 'em, I have friends who actually give a shit about me, even more reason to spend time with them.". I'll admit I have ghosted a few people but I've always had a reason for it - if I think someone is toxic in some way or I just have no desire to talk to them because we don't gel then I just don't want to continue that friendship. Hell one person threatened to ditch me on my birthday just because I've been crazy busy these past few months - yeah needless to say that was really dickish and I won't stand for shitty behaviour like that even if I may come off sounding calmer than I actually am, I'm the one who ditches them in cases like that. Some people think I'm a lot colder nowadays compared to how I used to be and I don't disagree with that sentiment but it's very important to know who your friends are. Never put up with people who offer nothing to you, even if it means leaving without saying a word.

Seriously, just a 'fancy word' for being ignored. Just move on. Remove and/or block them. Go outside and breathe. Fly a fucking kite. Do something better than think about someone who doesn't care about you.

My last relationship kinda ended in ghosting. looking back on it, I think she felt she was doing me a favor by keeping in contact for as long as she did, till one day that just stopped. When I needed them the most, they weren't there. Hurt a lot seeing them online all the time but clearly not wanting to talk to me. What a mess that turned into...

@neet_one It sucks and it is going to hurt for a bit. The good news. Not going to hurt forever. When you are ready you will get back in the game and come back stronger than ever. In the meantime, do your best to distract yourself. Maybe do something you do that makes you happy.
