Long Destance?

My first relationship was long distance. It lasted almost 4 years. Sure it was difficult in some ways, but thanks to the current state of technology where we can text each other, call etc, you don't feel as disconnected as you think. We didn't have much money, so we didn't date much. What ticked me off the most was people continually saying that it wasn't gonna work to my face. Btw, we broke up due to the growth of different interests and are still friends.

Commitment is everything, it seems though it works out for some people even years after finally getting to meet. Most of those ppl that I see on YT or where ever else with long distance but can’t meet seem to have a lot of will power or the relationship dies really fast Goes to either side of the spectrum 0-100 real quick

I believe a LDR will work when both parties trust each other, have patience and a blueprint for future, firmly believe each other's best match, agree to discuss various issues openly, correspond online and meet in real life regularly. I have witnessed some successful LDRs so I think relatively mature people's LDRs will work.

I'm sure it's a challenge... but aren't the best things in life typically also the hardest to obtain? *pushes up glasses*
