How do you get a Otaku girlfriend?

Seriously I'm not trying to have negativity when it comes to trying to find love with somebody that understands as I am a respectful person when it comes to men or females but it just feels like it's unfair that many people get a happy ending and I'm always treated like a step stool.....

I am more interested in Long stories than short ones because with long stories I can really get into them but with the short ones I feel like the short ones are the ones that are the most hard.

Okay. As someone who has had one, I'll give you my secret. First you walk up to a girl. Then, You ask if she likes anime. If she says yes. Ask her out. If she says no to you. Repeat, until successful... I may be sounding like a smartass but seriously. To get a girl in general(Or any partner), You need to show romantic interest early on, If you try to start up a friendship for months before gathering up the courage, than she'll only see you as friend on average(Always exceptions but, we're going by the general right now.) and you won't stand a chance. Just go out and meet people. Go on dates. Worse thing that could happen is they say no. Which leaves you exactly where you are were before. It's really that simple. It may not seem it, and trust me I know, I've been the introvert who couldn't talk to new people, Let alone girls I was interested in, But that's what you do. You talk to them, Get to know them(Preferably on a date.), and you act on the chemistry between you two. The more you do so, the more you interact, the less nervous it gets when you talk to anyone new, Until it's just completely natural, which is what you want to be on a date. If you want to find someone who truly loves you. You need to love you. Self Respect. Trust me, Goes miles. You'll learn to be happy being single for one. Work on your goals, do what makes you happy. A man(or woman) who is happy with who they are, is Far more attractive to be around than a negative nancy. Be you, But the BEST you. Be what you want. And be with someone who will be the BEST Them for you, Not settling for someone because they were the first person who said yes. Be with someone who is as just crazy in love with you as you are them. Seriously, Settling is the reason why divorce rates are over 50% percent. My advice may be straight forward, But that's honestly it.

I suggest talking with someone and get to know them. If you are lucky, you will get closer to them and likely end up in a relationship with them. Just jumping into one though is a horrible idea though, I learned the hard way.

Connect with people and don't be shy. Find common interests and go from there. You guys should enjoy spending time talking with one another, then hanging out with one another. A relationship is a natural progression of that cycle. Give it time, put in the effort, and don't be shy! ♥
