Virtually impossible to find girls who like anime IRL?

ndyleweeb
I saw a girl at HMV (DVD and music store) looking at anime. I was going to say something but it would have been weird lmao

Moreover, many of them give off unpleasant vibes...隈/くま....Many of them aren't as cute as ur waifus in anime...

So don't look for "anime/gamer person". I've found most people will give either a try if it means spending time with a person they like. It also seems flawed to me since you then have to figure out if you're both into the same genres and if you have anything else in common.

@blissfullforce1818 Interacting with a cosplayer outside of being a fan of the character they're portraying or their work seems to be discouraged. Too many people harass cosplayers. I didn't have lack of confidence and courage in mind when writing my last post but I was thinking about feeling socially awkward. That horrible feeling when you go to see if hanging out with someone would be fun and you realize you have no initial talking points. As an example, I could walk up to a person who I suspect to be an anime or gaming fan, but if it turned out they were into something I wasn't familiar with my only options left before entering awkward small talk land would be listing things randomly in hopes we had other talking points or being overly forward and asking them to show me the wonder of this new thing. The original poster seemed to focus entirely on anime and gaming, while it may seem odd to say on an anime dating site, I wanted to express that people should be willing to look for more than just that. I'm sorry if my post was unclear or if this one seems like rambling.

If you're trying to meet otaku females irl, you're doing it wrong. I'm married to one, I would know.
