Is Japan Dangerous?

The Yakuza are not even dangerous, they're too busy making money off Pachinko. Source: I'm in Tokyo RIGHT NOW, actually. Japan is pretty much not dangerous at all, and it's in general safer than the US or anywhere else (less likely to be mugged, for example). Fukushima is quite a ways north, so if you stay in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, etc, then you'll never even be near there.

Yeah Japan can be pretty dangerous in certain parts one thing you should do is avoid the tourist traps go to areas less known to foreign people along with trying to learn their culture and mannerisms its highly important you do for the traditional areas.

I know from experience Tokyo can be pretty hateful to foreigners Americans especially in a few areas.
