Those woods is very creepy and dark, it does have a popular hiking trail and many signs telling people who want to die that there is always hope and a chance to turn back to get help.
That and the place is haunted to high hell.

Oh yes it is its quite calm and relaxed really but at night it can be so much more scary to others to me its fine though im used to alot of fearful things and hauntings of any kind i investigated haunted places befor and suicide woods is nothing new but i do like the myths and everything surrounding it
