English Sub versus English Dub

I prefer sub because you're watching the anime was it was originally intended, and although yes you have to divert some of your attention to reading the words across the screen, the emotion and deliverance of the original dialogue is preserved.

You know you've been watching anime too much when you don't know Japanese but you can still point out when the subtitle it's wrong...

I honestly prefer subbed because dubbed just sounds weird to me. Though sometimes I find a diamond in the rough :D

Each thing with the original audio is better. I never liked dubbed english movies either. They have the intended voice selection and direction, wich is in most cases better to me.

Although MaiOtaku and this thread mostly aim at animes and other otaku content, this video shows Latin American Simpsons an example why some media being distributed from original country to localized country with certain things replaced to fit the country distributed outside of original country: http://youtu.be/gm6u7QtfrR8

To me Sub and dub don't matter as what matters is the original manga.
