How about "He is Beautiful"? It got my friend who was really into it to post on his Facebook that he cried over the last episode. :D Personally, I watch Partners. It's your standard detective TV show. Not bad. Easy to jump into. :)

There is one I luv it's called sign pretty sad thing is it was a short drama but the guys from there do musicals and r great singers they even made a sign music video

Lately, I've been watching "Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo" which is really funny, plus you happen to learn things. It's about a Japanese teacher and her foreigner students who want to learn Japanese.

I sadly havent watched many dramas recently but the two I recommend would be sunao ni narenakute and nobuta wo purodyuusu. Very emotional and good plot in general.
