The catholic churches does have spoken in Ecclesiastical Latin, English and Spanish. My great grandmother, grandmother and mother wore a veils in black, ivory or white. I was baptized as baby, eucharist aka first communion at 10, and sacrament of penance aka seal of confession at 11. The Catholic Church holds that there is one eternal God, When we do the sign of the cross, we say "The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit", which together are called the "Holy Trinity". Catholics believe that Jesus Christ is the "Second Person" of the Trinity, God the Son. In an event known as the Incarnation, through the power of the Holy Spirit, God became united with human nature through the conception of Christ in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Christ, therefore, is understood as being both fully divine and fully human, including possessing a human soul.

Forgive me if im wrong since i am still learning but the isnt the only way to get to the father is through the son? In other words to truly be saved you must believe in the lord and savior Jesus christ? But the holy spirit is that sort of like the belief itself? Also the unforgivable sin of blaspheming the holy spirit would mean you will not be forgiven.

The Catholic Churches teaches dogmatically that "the Holy Spirit proceeds eternally from the Father and the Son, not as from two principles but as from one single principle".It holds that the Father, as the "principle without principle", is the first origin of the Spirit, but also that he, as Father of the only Son, is with the Son the single principle from which the Spirit proceeds.

To be honest I don’t trust religious books like the Bible cause they are written by man and man is too easily corrupted by power. Any person can say that god spoke to them or wrote the book through them and turns out it was just a guy trying to control others. But that’s just me. Everyone has the right to believe whatever they want

Agreed, also in todays day and age therebis no reason not to believe the bible as no one (i mean besides the pope but then again he isnt running the world) holds any power due to the bible. Like you dont see anyone realistically being king or making rules based off the bible. In fact things such as abortion and homosexuality is strictly spoken out against yet we have gay marriage and abortion is being tossed back and forth in the legislation. You can argue it may have been used as a way to control people back when everyone was God fearing, but that is not the case today as even in this thread youbhave at least 3 people speaking out against it. If anything it should give you even more reason to believe in it as it predicted this would happen.

Courts still ask you to swear to something, usually a Bible, when you are in court. Only in recent years have they gave other options. This is a ritual that's imbedded in our government. Our money still says "in God we trust" and a marine motto is "For God, Corps, and Country". The Bible is dated and there are many things we don't do anymore that by today's standards would be barbaric and archaic. But religion is still deeply imbedded into our government which arguably reigns over us. Religion is dying because we are evolving beyond the need of it. People used to think their inner voice or conscience was God talking to them. What is the difference between a person that doesn't believe in God, but lives a pure and just life vs a Christian that does the same? Nothing except the Christian thinks the other person is going to Hell. The shade of it all.
