Yes. That happened, especially here. There was a theory saying that Hitler survived WWII and spent the rest of his days in a farm in Argentina.

They were prominent in southern Brazil, especially, where German immigrants are abundant. Funny thing that these guys always have been known for trying to secede from Brazil.
