My company just announced that they are no longer requiring vaccination status to enter or attend on and off site events. I'm wondering if other companies have been doing the same. This is big considering that a handful of people did contract the virus during our company retreat several months ago.

@verucassault My job never once required vaccines. They offered to pay us for getting the shots as well as add 1 personal day. Masks haven't been required since March. Also they don't excuse COVID-19 as a reason for absence as of July. People are expected to work as normal even if they test positive. If symptoms are severe then they may put in a request for medical leave through HR, however it isn't a priority illness so expect to have that declined.
