Hmmm........I think you need professional help. Whenever you get such an attack, sit down and try to think what is it exactly that's making you so anxious. After you've found it out, think that should you be anxious about it or not. If no, then just stop worrying about it. If yes, then think of what you can do about the situation you're anxious about. If something's possible then do it, and you should gbe able to gain the upper hand over such feelings. @ahuman

@Vargas I've had this for years. These suck and even worse I have a fear of vomit and vomiting, so it kind of feeds itself. I would strongly suggest seeing a doctor about it. One thing that was done is that they had given me lorazepam which takes the edge off within minutes. However the way to properly take them is when the panic attack is out of control and there's nothing that will stop it. A lesser one, it is best to figure out how to mitigate the panic attack. Bunch of things you can try out. Find a distraction, it can be anything. A game that requires focus, drawing, listing off things like the periodic table of elements , countries of the world or names of pokemon. Something that takes your mind off of how you feel. Plus it got me able to list off all 118 elements and all 151 pokemon of Gen 1, so it has other benefits. Frame of mind also helps. You have to convince yourself that you aren't sick. You have to ask, "In all honesty, how often do I throw up?" The answer is probably not very often, or at least I haven't in years at least. A coping mechanism is another thing I have, I eat a cracker or eat a piece of ginger candy to settle my stomach. It might be placebo effect where I believe that the cracker or ginger will work and it does. Of course these are a few ideas to get you through until you can get a doctor to give you more professional treatment. These panic attacks are really shitty and I hope you can have some sort of success with them.

It’s 5am and I am still unable to sleep so if anyone has got any advice on how to fix a messed up sleeping pattern it would be very much appreciated
