How do you deal with Stalkers?

yaasshat
@ Laughing Yeah. He follows me EVERYWHERE. I mean, just the other day, I got out of the shower and there he was in my mirror, just eyeing my body up and down...Th-Then he touched me...What a creep...I might've liked it, only a little. ;) On a real note, No, I have not, that I'm aware of. However, me not having one or having one does not invalidate my opinions. If that's what you were trying to get at. Of course, I've been known to read to much into things.

I mean, I would. Just inform all your contacts. Maybe there's a way to get those notifications blocked, too. I'd talk to your phone provider first.

Don't use your full real name in any social media. Avoid using the same username and email address on different websites. Avoid putting private info online. Don't use the same photos on different social media accounts, It's easy to track images on google images. If extra paranoid, use a vpn. Don't be rude but don't be nice either, confront her and say you are uncomfortable on what she is doing and she needs to move on. If you continue to be polite, she'll think you she has a chance. I had a similar experience with persistent trolls. I had to revise all my social media accounts, because it's really hard to ignore when it's frequent.

I was in a similar position OP, every time she came to the house, the police would take her home, after she realised coming to the house wouldn't work, the stalking moved to online. Here's what helped me: 1. If they come to your house, ask them to leave, if not, call the police. 2. Online it's a bit harder, I started using a different spelling of my name on social media 3. If that doesn't work, adopt an alias, explain to people close to you why you're using an alias and ask for them not to share it 4. Be patient, for me it took almost 2 years to be free from the stalking, but it will stop if you ignore them, it might seem hopeless but they will get bored, so don't give up, it will stop ^^
