What was it/is it like for you going through College/University?

Ehh, college life was "ok". At first I went to community college for 3 years in order to save money and finish my normal education. I also couldn't decide on what major to pursue so I changed my major like 5-6 times before sticking with History. Once I transferred(San Francisco State University) I commuted from my mom's house in order to get to college. It took me 1 hour and 30 mins and if I didn't leave at 4:30am I would hit traffic which would easily make it a 2 hour and 30 min drive. Luckily I had someone to commute with and once we got to the college we would sleep in the car for about 2-3 hours before our first class xD. Now that was the life LOL. I did anything in order to save money + I had financial aid so I didn't have to pay for anything. No loans whatsoever! I also worked at McDonald's for 30 hours a week all throughout my college life. It was non stop college/work. I basically had no time for anything social. I was basically stressed everyday but I did go to the occasional parties. Also I only had like 2-3 good friends in college since it was hard to make friends since all I did was work/study non stop. Anyway, i'm glad that college life is over and I actually graduated! Oh yeah, I would always sleep in class which was really bad :(. Everyone has different experiences and i'm sure it will get better for you!

I'm in community college right now and I work full time. Before this semester I didnt have a major that I honestly cared for, I lied to myself and others saying that it was the one for me. My attendance was trash and my grades we worse. Fast forward to this semester where I've found the right degree for me and I'm blasting through even regular classes like math. Now anything that comes my way is an opportunity to learn and become that much sharper. I'm happier on the days I do have school because I have a purpose.

I met the smartest people and most potential filled people I have ever met in my life. I made great friends, and had a blast of college life. I didn't have a high school life, but I developed a college one. No parties though, cuz I'm a hermit weeb.
