Making a better MO Community

Probably the biggest part on the "not growing" thing is the site itself not improving. There seems to be only one admin and developer of the site during its entire life, so, even if he wants to make big changes, it's going to be really slow paced. Furthermore, even after such slow changes happen to the site, it's arguably if those changes are bringing the site to the right path. Some people says it would be better if the site was advertised not as a dating site...or things like that. It's hard for the site to bring to life new ideas, or backpedal on wrong turns with a team of one person.

This site definitely has a lot of potential, i love spending time here too! btw how is this a dating site if it needs a 18+ forum to post 18+ stuffs? :/ Overall i feel if people are more active and interactive in the forums, then things will get interesting again.

(In sentence order) It has the potential. It just needs the effort put into it. Uh.... Good question, no answer. I think that's true.

The problem is 1 tribalism 2 white knights 3 the whole site is supposed to be a dating site but it fails so hard and just turns into a circle jerk of friends and some kind of false safe space. I'm sure there are more problems like mental illness being rampant on here and the human condition that is hard to break for some and all of which take their part in ensuring no change comes.
