Children and dunks can for a fact consent, just not legally (which is good). Also when you have sex that IS you consenting to the risk of pregnancy.

The pro-life movement/think-tank should see ahead the matter of abortion. Womb surgeries are already becoming a thing to prevent babies to be born with physical or even mental issues. We should look more into that question. Okay. Abortion isn't allowed/decriminalized, so what else should be done? A plausible example i that we should also focus on pushing our health systems (if your country has a public health system) to work on life-preservation methods on pregnant women to avoid a "necessary" abortion and make them accessible. That would also save some tax money on those assistance programs to impaired people. No. This isn't by any means a defense of abortion or flattening of its wrong.

But... sigh, plebs. It will be confined to some minority of conservative/pro-life think-tanks, because most of them don't give three shits to women and babies.

I found the issue of abortion analogous to sorites paradox. Adding grains of sand until you get a heap. A paradox arises. When do a collection of a grains of sand turn into a heap? Is it at 100, 1,000, 100,000 grains of sand? The same goes with human development in the womb. When does a fetus become a human? It certainly isn't at day one of conception. But the child is a human at day 269, which is a day before conception. When does the fetus become a human between day 1 and day 270 of conception? Really hard to say.
