Both

Usually subbed, but some dubs like FUNimation dubs are pretty good.

Both. But since I mostly watch what's current in Japan it's all subs.

I usually prefer subs. There are times where dubs can miss the important context of a story and I can sit there confused about it (´-ι_-`) Besides that, you can also factor in censorship in dubs as well

Occasionally the dub is so outlandish, cheesy, or comical that it is worth watching over sub for sheer entertainment. Most often though that's not the case and I watch sub instead.

Dub because I like a language I am fluent in and I often multitask while watching anime so having to read subtitles is a hassle. I watched a couple of subs and liked it too though. I just hate two things, 1) when the dub fails to translate what is said and the emotions, or has at least one voice that is bad and it makes the whole thing unwatchable. One character sounds laid-back and carefree in japanese? KEEP HIM laid-back and carefree in english too! Initial D had this problem. The tokyopop had really good dubbing, but they replaced all the eurobeat songs in english with other songs in english???? The funimation dub kept the songs, but their dubbing is terrible T____T 2) Sub watchers are aggressive elitists. Certainly not all of them, not that much of them actually, but it's so gratuitous how they like to attack dub watchers and either try to convince them to exclusively watch subs like them, or they just call them peasants. I love how it bothers them so much that someone else living far away isn't watching it the same way they do. Every dub is terrible to them. I read stuff like "I tried listening to a dub for 5 seconds it was awful, never going back", because 5 seconds is representative of every dub out there ^^' oh oh and then there's when they think people don't watch subs because they are unable to watch anime and read subtitles at the same time. Everyone is able to do it, it's not a super power, please get off your high horse. Oof. Live and let live.

I process sound better than visuals and am bit of a slow reader so I prefer dubs for more dialogue heavy shows.
