I don't mind Houston, even despite zombie hurricane Harvey lol. It's really diverse, no income tax, largest medical center in the USA so there's a lot of job opportunities for me despite competition and cost of living and property are all on the cheaper side comparatively to other large metropolitan areas. And I like that we're pretty progressive, at least in the loop. The only negatives I have are just the hot/humid AF summers and the hordes of mosquitoes. Also traffic I guess but that's just what happens when you live in a city.

Houston traffic is a joke. I've never been anywhere that's had worse traffic and worse drivers.

InfernalMonsoon If you have a degree in anything then just apply to teach in asia somewhere, it's what I did to get to Japan. If you get serious about it then do a CELTA to be more qualified, or even a PGCE. The more education the better. CELTA is as far as I've gone.

Same buddy, my town is right next to Ft. Sill, and it is the most shittiest place on earth. Not even the soldiers want to be here. My first priority, move as far away from this place. Second priority, burn it to the ground. Third priority, find me a cute otaku girl.

I'm in a neutral area, Cincinnati. Can't hate it, don't love it. Just neutral. Least I think it is.

Ontario Canada, I like where I live since it calm, and events to go to if I want.
