If you could erase one thing...

Effectively the ability to "erase one thing." While it does seem quite attractive to be able to erase something that you desire, I feel it would not be smart to do so. We live in a world that is very complex and if one thing were to disappear, that balance maintaining it would disappear and thus the world we know today would no longer exist due to all the unforeseen consequences. Now is it possible that world would be better if something was erased? Maybe, but is there still the risk that just by a simple unnatural change the world would be thrown into chaos (greater chaos than what we naturally have anyways)? Yes. So I ask this... Is it worth taking that risk to potentially change one thing?
