What positive (or negative) effects has MO had on your lives/character?

Well, i finally have a form of socialization outside of immediate family (aka just 2 of my sisters because i suck at keeping touch with family living far away) and the occational spoken sentances at work..so its a plus, even if i only talk to maybe 3 ppl on here lol

It has positive effects on me. Before I created an account on MaiOtaku, I had been a reclusive,inconfident(in appearance and charm of personality),insecure mojyo who was not stable enough in terms of character, and knew little about what I was really attracted to. I've been a member of this community for 11 months, now I think I'm less insecure than I used to be,I have confidence in myself, I know what I'm really attacted to and what my major weak points are, I dare tell people my emotions.

I'd like to think it's had a positive effect on me, but I'm not entirely sure. It's allowed me to chat with more people, but at the same time I've also lost contact with a lot of them over the course of using this site.

Positive : been able to meet wonderful people that I can actully call friends. So it has made me more trust worthy of others. Negatively: I waste to much fucking time on here.
