This is actually a good video. I recommend. Only about eight minutes. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_Mx7yNXfFOs

@kuharido Oh ho ho.. murder-porn. You know what I like. Oo Sidebar - I sometimes listen to My Favorite Murder podcast and they tackle this often, the appeal women have to True Crime and murder-porn in general. For many, it's a way to be prepared, to know what to spot and look out for in the event they are traveling alone or dealing with strangers. One of the best ones was where they talk about Mary Vincent. I actually just made @Arc watch the I Survived episode with her in it last night. Her story is horrifying and yet encouraging, what she did to survive her attacker. It's amazing she lived through it.

@verucassault I consume a decent amount of crime media. It's fascinating. Hybristophilia has always been a curious thing to me. That video went over it well

Even Richard Ramirez had women who wrote to him when he was caught. Ew

Apparently there's a true crime doc on Netflix that's upsetting people, available not on US Netflix, but UK called Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey. https://popculture.com/streaming/news/netflix-newest-true-crime-addition-is-sickening-viewers/ Which is odd because it happened in America, I believe the girl was from Florida, yet it's not airing for US Netflix.
